SUMMARY: Born in Brazil, it was after his powers activated that he came to America to attend Xavier's Institute. Upon joining the New Mutants, he instantly became bffs with SAM GUTHRIE, becoming completely inseparable as far as best buds went. They shared everything, and the one thing that Sam hadn't factored into the equation was Berto's playful, promiscuous nature landing him in bed with Sam's then-girlfriend, TABITHA SMITH. They've still been at odds, kind of. While being on two separate teams has helped alleviate some tension, Berto does hope to one day rekindle the bromance to its fullest.
MUTATION: Solar rechanneling, solar form, superhuman strength, thermokinesis & flight.

ALIAS: Mirage.
AGE RANGE: 24-31.
SUMMARY: Born and raised in a Native American tribe, the shaman had thought that Dani's mutation was initially spiritual -- talking to animals, casting illusions and 'visions,' but instead it was proven to be her mutant gene. She discovered this after having a pretty decent conversation with a wolf who transformed into a red-haired woman, RAHNE SINCLAIR, who recruited her to Xavier's Mansion and the now-defunct New Mutants. It was this that brought up their friendship, especially since she was the only one who could communicate with Rahne while in wolf form. She is aware of XI'AN COY MANH's affections, but is unsure how to respond. Flattered, naturally.
MUTATION: Empathic illusion casting, nueral arrows & animal empathy.

ALIAS: Warpath.
AGE RANGE 24-27.
SUMMARY: Another from a Native American ranch, James joined up with the X-Men after his brother died in his first conflict in a failed mission. It was a disaster. Wanting to follow and make his late brother proud, he went to Xavier and tried to find a home within the area. Since then, he's bounced around from the X-Men, X-Factor and no team at all, until he finally landed on X-Force, finding his abilities better suited with such a stealthy and deadly group. It was the beauty of DANI MOONSTAR that initially attracted him, of course.
MUTATION: Superhuman strength & flight.

ALIAS: Boom Boom.
AGE RANGE 23-28.
SUMMARY: Always having problems with her parents, even more so once they had discovered she was a mutant, she set off a small detonation in her father's cereal that caused him to abuse her for the next few years, leading to her runaway status to attend the fabled school of mutants. Upon arrival, it was SAM GUTHRIE that caught her attention at first, even offering her a spot on the New Mutants. Things went a little blurry when she met ROBERTO DA COSTA, and soon crept into his bed. She eventually broke off the relationship with Sam. Since then, they've tried to fix things up. Tried. At least.
MUTATION: Time bombs -- detonative energy.

ALIAS: Cable, Leader.
AGE RANGE: 29-35.
SUMMARY: As confusing as his semi-sister RACHEL SUMMERS' history is, his own gets a bit torrid with being the older son of SCOTT SUMMERS and the clone of JEAN GREY and Scott's first wife, MADELYNE PRYOR. And yeah, he's from the future, too. He's found a common ground in the past, his chrono-hopping ways no longer working but his bed-hopping is quite intact. He's been with most of his team members, including NEENA THURMAN and WADE WILSON, but the real trouble comes from both being in love with him. He doesn't want to be serious with either, but keeps dragging them along for the good times.
MUTATION: Telepathy, psychokinesis, & some techno-organics.

ALIAS: Domino.
AGE RANGE: 26-32.
SUMMARY: Hailing from a top-secret government agency project, she was the sole one to survive and put to death as her luck powers were deemed useless. Naturally, being lucky, she escaped and found herself being quite the advantageous runaway. Her own work as an assassin-for-hire caused her to run into X-Force. She soon fell in love with NATHAN SUMMERS, only to wake up in his bed to find WADE WILSON glaring down at her, declaring her a tramp and ruining the Batman/Robin dynamic. She hates Wade with a passion, but dude can get a job done better than anybody else. So, she tolerates him. She just wishes he would shut the hell up. She has a sexual 'thing' with JAMES HOWLETT and LUCAS BISHOP, mostly out of convenience whenever they respectively end up in the same place together.
MUTATION: Probability field increasing luck & superb marksmanship.

ALIAS: Deadpool.
AGE: 29-40.
SUMMARY: A previous member of Weapon-X, batshit insane, and a complete pain in the ass, the self-proclaimed MERC WITH THE MOUTH! had made bestest-best-friends with NATHAN SUMMERS! So much so that they began to fool around (he let Nathan lead because he wanted to wear the Robin Spankies for Nathan's Batman-ways). Soon after recruiting VANESSA CARLYSLE into the group, the dynamic shifted as she was claiming she was Wade's girlfriend. He would just smile happily at being so popular! It lasted briefly as Wade would soon find Vanessa murdered, her body dumped in a garbage bin. Then NEENA THURMAN came and ruined everything by falling for Nathan (his one true love)! Now, he declares they should wrestle in oil for his love. In bikinis. Recently, due to HANK MCCOY's involvement, he's gotten his normal looking features and skin back. For how long? Who knows.
MUTATION: Healing factor allowing superhuman abilities & ridiculous combat skills.
